Flurries of snow filled my Tuesday!
Generally, cold, gloomy days in Chicago tend to bum me out but for some reason I was SO in the mood for it today. I’m so ready for snow! Mostly because it reminds me that Christmas is coming and I will be home in less than 3 weeks! I already miss my wonderful family and my lovely house. By the way, did I already show you my fabulous little Loveland home?
I can’t wait to be back again! The second reason I want snow is a little different…
My parents bought me these adorable new Sorel snow boots while I was home, so I am DYING to tromp through the snow in them! I hope the day comes soon!
Alright here’s a little bit about my Tuesday. I was up and at ‘em this morning at about 8:15 and did The Firm’s High Def Scupt workout video. Even though I did it last week with my mom, it felt tough this morning! Yogalates yesterday made my shoulders really, really sore. Its crazy how after only a week without yoga, my body loses a lot of the muscle memory. It takes forever to build and no time at all to lose. Go figure! Breakfast consisted of one of my delicious purple protein shakes. After class, Ryan came over and we made pumpkin spice lattes
I grabbed a Kashi Trail Mix bar to snack on since I didn’t have time for lunch. When I finally was done with class at 3:10, I raced home and scarfed one of my yummy blueberry bran muffins, a bowl of tuna, and a few Sniders sourdough nibblers. Before heading to cycling/pilates tonight at 7, I fueled up with a vanilla Chobani and a little apple. Dinner was a bowl of honey-nut Cheerios topped with frozen blueberries and a cup of coffee with Peppermint Mocha Coffeemate. More like breakfast, but that’s what sounded good tonight!
Sorry I SUCK at taking pictures! I’m gonna need to start remembering during my busy day. I like looking at other bloggers food photos, so I need to start adding some of my own!
